M Systems successfully completes more IBM Informix Dynamic Server (IDS) 9.40 upgrade and tuning projects.

M Systems unveils its Network Administration Services for independent schools and small businesses.  With its multi-tiered approach,  clients can obtain affordable expert service for their file server and network at  the level  that best fits their requirements. Preventative maintenance and technical support functions are performed from M Systems' offices in Durham, NC via high-speed Internet connections.  A North Carolina charter school that recently signed up for this service is relieved to finally have such a  feasible solution to its technical support needs.  

M Systems successfully implements an upgrade including a data replication based disaster recovery mechanism for a leading distributor of industrial pipe, fittings, valves, and controls located in Virginia. The new solution is more than twice as fast as before and data is replicated within seconds to a co-location facility which houses a backup server.

IBM Informix Dynamic Server's High Availability Data Replication (HDR) facility was utilized as the replication mechanism.
