Custom Programming, Legacy Software Support and Modernization
Many organizations continue to use and depend on systems first implemented 10 or more years ago. While there may not be a need to replace these systems, ongoing support is needed and often minor enhancements and fixes can extend the system’s life cycle.
Over the years M Systems has been in business, we have seamlessly and successfully provided support for existing systems, whether it is with a pure focus to allow them to continue to run, apply minor or major enhancements, or applying permanent fixes to problems that others thought were not fixable. In many other cases, we have successfully upgraded and migrated older systems to newer hardware, operating system, database and programming environments. Typical projects involved moving from very old and in some cases no longer supported Unix platforms to the latest Linux based servers, upgrading old style “green screen” terminal based application to graphical user interface (GUI) or even web.
M Systems has substantial experience and an impeccable track record in moving applications with the following technologies to newer Linux/Unix/Windows platforms: C/C++, Informix-4GL, Microsoft Visual Basic/Access, Java, COBOL.
